DONATE AND HELP SHIP THE CRATE PROJECT
Wulaba International and Women in Community with the aide of the generous people of the Gippsland region, have sent 4 cubic metres of “GOODWILL” to Senegal and the Gambia, W/Africa
The donations included educational supplies from Lakes Entrance Primary School, hospital equipment from the Traralgon Hospital, 80 insecticide impregnated mossie nets (for pregnant mums and small children to assist in the fight against malaria) made possible by Suzie Henderson from Morwell, 650 pairs of eye glasses, soccer boots and other sporting equipment, shoes, bicycles and 2 bales of clothes weighing in at approx 350kgs etc. were sent during the first week of December.
Foday, myself (Mariama) our daughter Jane and the President of Women in Community, Michelle Tisdale are flying out to Senegal on the 23rd January to collect and distribute the donations from Port Dakar.
